Joshua Tree National Park has increased in popularity with projected visitor-ship for 2023-2024 as an estimated three million travelers. It's not unusual to hear from our guests they don't have the time to explore all of JTNP and what our amazing communities have to offer. The Morongo Basin is filled with local activities, very often for FREE! Long traditions include Pioneer and Grubstake Days, Joshua Tree Music Festival, the Weed Show, Bhakti Fest, and the Orchid Festival. These long-standing events only touch the surface as you're almost certain to visit during a car show, astronomy event, art gallery openings, a community event, star party, and certainly some live music concert.

Hi, we're Russ and Susan
As rock climbers, my husband Russ and I have been visiting the Joshua Tree area since the 1980's and decided to set down roots purchasing our first home in 29 Palms in 2004. We love the small community and exploring the Mojave desert; we tinker with a variety of hobbies from climbing, gardening in our bio-domes, brewing the occasional craft beer and have been called "remodeling enthusiasts". With Joshua Tree Vacation Homes established in 2005 we’ve sought to provide quality lodging with a balance of guest privacy, personal attention, and communication as top priorities. We live in Joshua Tree and not far from our properties, so we're always available for any questions (or unlikely emergencies) you might have.
