Dos Deserts draws its inspiration from Joshua Tree National Park, where the Mojave and Colorado deserts meet. The house offers a tranquil environment inside and out, with all the amenities of home and a welcoming exterior where guests may unwind in the sunshine, gaze at the stars, or, for those who can't stand to be idle, hit the gym.
With the popular Indian Cove Campground just three miles up the road, you can trek through the Wonderland of Rocks, visit Rattlesnake Canyon, and go rock climbing. The 49 Palms Oasis Trail, one of JTNP's top hikes, is about five minutes away to the east. The Joshua Tree National Park west entrance and the Twentynine Palms north entrance are both equally accessible from Dos Deserts. The North Entrance is fast becoming the insider's secret for shorter waits to enter Joshua Tree National Park.
The emerging downtown district of Twentynine Palms is home to Freedom Plaza, the JTNP Visitor and Cultural Center, as well as several wonderful restaurants and stores. Don't forget the Farmers Market every Saturday morning!
