Joshua Tree National Park Roadrunner Shuttle continues with service through Spring 2019. The Roadrunner Shuttle, which launched in Spring 2018, is a Park and Ride solution for visitors allowing them to ride and enter the JTNP for FREE! Whether you’re visiting to rock climb, hike or explore the hop-on hop-off service will help ease congestion and enhance your visit to the most popular spots in the Park.
The pilot year of the service has had a few tweaks including removing the Park and Ride option previously offered from Joshua Tree Village. Those of you who utilized the shuttle in spring of 2018 may want to check the schedule for Park and Ride locations located in Twentynine Palms.
The Roadrunner Shuttle will provide passengers parking at Joshua Tree NP Oasis Visitor Center and Twentynine Palms Transit Center a loop through the Park leaving 29 Palms on the hour starting at 8:00 A.M. During the months of November through February service is restricted to Friday, Saturday and Sunday with select Holidays where as March and April service is offered daily.
The shuttle allows hopping between the Park's interior hot spots of Ryan Mountain, Hall of Horrors, Ryan Campground, Cap Rock, Barker Dam, Hidden Valley, Intersection Rock, Hidden Valley, Quail Springs Picnic Area and Intersection Rock roughly every thirty minutes.
